If you have set up a connected fundraiser for an existing cause on Whydonate, the donations go directly to that cause. If you want to receive donations for your own cause, you must register a new one.

How can I connect my fundraiser to an existing cause?
Whydonate offers the option to connect fundraisers. You do this by going to the fundraising page you want to connect to and then clicking on 'Connect fundraiser'. You then create your own fundraising page, the donations of which are allocated to the parent fundraiser.

Turning connected (team) fundraising on and off In addition to a standard fundraiser, you can also create an umbrella team or event fundraiser. This means that others can link their own fundraiser to the team or event fundraiser. The donations from the linked fundraisers are all added together to the team or event fundraiser.
